Echipamentele <strong>UVO-C<\/strong> introduc ozonul \u00een conducta de ventila\u021bie a depozitului sau direct \u00een spa\u021biul de depozitare, iar echipamentele mobile <strong>UVO<\/strong> direct \u00een depozit. Dac\u0103 echipamentul produce ozon din oxigenul aerului din depozit, se manifest\u0103 \u0219i efectul bactericid, fungicid \u0219i antimucegai al luminii UV de 254 nm. Ozonul are un miros puternic, \u00een\u021bep\u0103tor, asem\u0103n\u0103tor clorului. Efectul s\u0103u oxidant irit\u0103 puternic c\u0103ile respiratorii. Valorile-limit\u0103 admise ale expunerii profesionale la ozon, \u00een compara\u021bie interna\u021bional\u0103, sunt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-neve-link-color-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-block-list wp-elements-844c79774a81d1c12407a4f487c0adde\">\n<li> 0,1 ppm (0,2 mg\/m<a>\u00b3<\/a>) pentru o zi de lucru de 8 ore<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n<li>0,2 ppm (0,4 mg\/m\u00b3) pentru max. 15 minute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-color-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-04477ec78a00d69ad3943b171ee8a274\">Concentra\u021bia de ozon necesar\u0103 pentru descompunerea etilenei depinde de dimensiunea depozitului, de utilizarea planificat\u0103, de tipul de fructe \u0219i legume; conform datelor din literatur\u0103, poate fi eficient\u0103 deja \u00eentre 0,1\u20130,3 ppm. Depozitele sunt de obicei zone cu umiditate mai ridicat\u0103. Ozonul se descompune rapid \u00een medii cu umiditate ridicat\u0103, de aceea trebuie dispersat rapid \u00een \u00eentreaga zon\u0103. \u00cen ceea ce prive\u0219te \u00eendep\u0103rtarea etilenei, \u00eentre cele dou\u0103 metode prezentate apar urm\u0103toarele diferen\u021be<a><strong>:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-neve-link-color-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-block-list wp-elements-21cc769ec0ecbb6adf96399c3a83fe82\">\n<li> \u00cendep\u0103rtarea etilenei prin tratamentul VUV-fotoliz\u0103 este mult mai rapid\u0103 dec\u00e2t prin PCO. Motivul este c\u0103 fotocataliza are loc \u00een principal pe suprafa\u021ba catalizatorului, \u00een timp ce fotoliza are loc \u00een faza gazoas\u0103. Ca urmare, VUV-fotoliza asigur\u0103 o \u00eendep\u0103rtare a etilenei mai rapid\u0103 \u0219i mai eficient\u0103.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n<li>Umiditatea relativ\u0103 ridicat\u0103 intensific\u0103 oxidarea etilenei \u00een tehnica fotolizei, spre deosebire de PCO. Ozonul, chiar \u0219i \u00een concentra\u021bii foarte sc\u0103zute, dar \u00een condi\u021bii de umiditate ridicat\u0103, exercit\u0103 un efect germicid semnificativ asupra microorganismelor din aer. Sterilizarea cu ozon este eficient\u0103 doar asupra celulelor suficient hidratate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n<li>Temperatura mai sc\u0103zut\u0103 \u00eempiedic\u0103 oxidarea etilenei doar \u00een cazul tehnicii de fotoliz\u0103.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n<li>Asigurarea tratamentului prin fotoliz\u0103 necesit\u0103 o procedur\u0103 cu mare aten\u021bie. \u00cen timpul tratamentului trebuie respectate valorile-limit\u0103 admise ale expunerii profesionale la ozon. Dup\u0103 tratament, depozitul trebuie aerisit.
