Die D10-Dosis kann von 7 Ws\/m\u00b2 (Escherichia coli) bis 1000 Ws\/m\u00b2 (Pilze) reichen. Der D10-Wert ist die Dosis der UV-Strahlung, die eine bestimmte Ausgangskeimzahl um 90 % reduziert. Die Wirkung von UVC-Strahlung auf Coronaviren ist gut bekannt.
